Tameika Isaac Devine is the founder of The Possibilities Institute, a peak performance consulting and public speaking firm specializing in providing personal and professional development for people who are called to a life of change. Overcoming the nay-sayers , at age 29, Tameika became the first African American female elected to Columbia, SC City Council. She is a partner in her own law firm, Jabber & Isaac.

Tameika Isaac Devine consistently teaches, mentors, and trains women on facilitating change in their lives and community. Tameika serves on several professional law and political organizations. She was an integral part of the team that helped President Barack Obama win a sweeping victory in the 2008 South Carolina primary and was a delegate to China. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, and Jack & Jill of America.

An Attorney, Speaker, Politician, Coach and Mentor, Tameika Isaac Devine earned her law degree from The University of South Carolina School of Law and her B.S. in Management from Hampton University.

Tameika is the wife to Jamie Devine. They have been married 11 years and are the blessed parents of four children, Tamia, Jade,  Jameson and James Henry, who went to be with the Lord in August 2014.

Jamie L. Devine is a skilled communicator with over 15 years of public speaking experience. Jamie turned his passion for talking, which usually got him in trouble in school, into a way to inspire and influence people, young and old.

A self-proclaimed “country boy”, having growing up in rural South Carolina and the son of a Baptist minister and mill worker, Jamie has always believed that hard work and perseverance can help you overcome any circumstance. Jamie is President/CEO for Community Assistance Provider, a regional non-profit housing development corporation. He also serves as a member of the Richland County School District One Board of School Commissioners, having served as Chairman in 2013 and is on the Board of the South Carolina School Boards Association. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Jamie is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Columbia, sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the 2007 “20 under 40” class presented by The State newspaper and was named “Top 40 under 40” by Black Pages USA in 2014. He is a graduate of the South Carolina Economic Developer’s School and the South Carolina Community Development Certificate Institute having completed studies in Community Economic Development.
