I grew up on New York & Company. At that time, they were called Lerner. My grandmother loved Lerner. It was her go to place to buy clothes for all of her granddaughters.
In fact, she got me my very 1st credit card from Lerner. Of course, my mother had to keep the card so that I did not go crazy buying in the store, but that was my way to go back to school shopping every year.
When I became a young adult, the name changed to Lerner New York and I always found something stylish and trendy for my age.
Years later when I was a young professional and started my first legal job, Lerner New York helped me build a wardrobe on the salary of a first-year legal services attorney that was cute, great quality and affordable.
As I got older and my professional clothing style matured, I transitioned to other stores. However, over the last 2 years I have re-discovered New York and Company and realized why I still love them and why they were such a big part of my growing up.
Now, with my busy schedule as a working mom, I don’t have a lot of time to go to the mall so I shop online. New York & Company has great styles to choose from. The Eva Mendez collection and the Gabrielle Union have unique pieces that are perfect for the professional woman. They have a variety of styles that gives you options for the everyday modern woman whether I’m looking for an outfit to wear to court or whether I just need something nice and casual to hang out with my kids. I can always find something stylish, comfortable and reasonably priced at New York & Company.
